Decker & Associates (D&A) works closely with Texas school districts. Over 4,000 Texas high school students and 45 school districts experienced RLFM during the 2017-2018 school year. Many of those school districts ordered RLFM directly from Decker & Associates. Others used the Texas Education Agency (TEA) EMAT system to order and pay. By being on this page, you express an interested in using the TEA EMAT ordering and payment system.
For ordering materials for the school year 2017-2018, EMAT closes in April 2018. For the school year 2018-2019, EMAT opens again in May 2018. The following notice is from the TEA.
EMAT will close at 12:00 noon CDT on April 2, 2018. School districts and open-enrollment charter schools should place orders for instructional materials needed for the 2017−18 school year on or before April 2, 2018. EMAT will reopen for ordering materials for the 2018−19 school year on May 1, 2018.
Whether you order for the 2017-2018 school year before April 2, 2018, or for the 2018-2019 school year after EMAT opens on May 1, 2018, you only need to know a few things to order Real Life Financial Math through EMAT,
First, if you students each have a computer assigned to them during the course, you will need to order a license for each student and a separate license for each teacher. The Student License and the Teacher License are separate components on the EMAT system hand have their individual ISBN numbers.
If your students do not have computers and a teacher will be projecting his or her license of RLFM on to a screen, then the teacher will need the Instructor Stand Alone license for the course. It also has its own ISBN number. Click this link to see the RLFM course catalog.
